Dear organizers, advocates, and movement allies,
In November last year, the Sexual & Reproductive Justice Hub at CUNY SPH launched the newest iteration of the civil society-led Global 16 Days of Activism to End Gender-Based Violence campaign.
The Global 16 Days Against Gender-Based Violence Campaign is now a year-round initiative called #365ToEndGBV, centering grassroots organizing, bodily autonomy, and solidarity across regions. What started as a 16 day campaign running annually from November 25 to December 10, is now active year-round reflecting our fellow activists' unending commitment to the cause.
In this newsletter, we share updates for the next year-long campaign, kicking off on November 25, 2025, ways that you can get involved, and more!

- Bodily autonomy, in its entirety. We link bodily autonomy to Indigenous rights, ecological justice, tech-facilitated violence, LGBTQIA+ rights, and more—because our bodies and the communities and ecosystems we live in (physical, cultural, environmental, and digital) are inseparable.
- Ready-to-use content. We’ll send monthly batches of posts with illustrations and templates you can adapt, remix, and co-brand.
- Online + offline. Use the materials on social media or print as postcards/placards for marches, teach-ins, and community events.
- A quarterly newsletter to keep us connected throughout the year.

- Use the toolbox: Images and copy you can adjust to your context, translate, and/or brand with your logo.
- Post and tag: Share all year and during Nov 25–Dec 10. Use #365ToEndGBV and tag our channels so we can amplify.
- Use it in your activities: Materials can be printed and used for workshops, marches, or any local strategy. Please share pics with us; we would love to highlight your actions.
- Share feedback: Send examples of what worked (and what didn’t). We iterate together.

- Center those most impacted, including Indigenous peoples, trans and gender-diverse communities, and defenders facing intersecting harms.
- Go beyond awareness, connect stories to structural drivers (austerity, corruption, conflict, extractivism, racism, imperialism).
- Practice consent, accessibility, and care online and offline.
- Make it your own, adapt, adjust, play and enjoy!
