In case you missed last week's HUGE news -- we sent out a special digest to announce it -- Joby Aviation is going public in a $6.6B (yes, B!) SPAC deal led by LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman and Zynga founder Mark Pincus. Joby has been quietly engineering an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for the last 10 years. Check out video footage that Joby is sharing for the first time. From Joby: "Designed to carry a pilot and four passengers up to 150 miles at speeds up to 200 miles per hour, we plan to deliver new ways of moving around congested cities and under-served rural communities, starting in 2024."
