$43,000 Awarded to New England Schools
|
|
New England Dairy recently approved over $43,000 in grants for equipment to serve dairy on the go in 28 schools, impacting nearly 22,000 students. Schools are looking for new menu items that can easily be served or eaten outside the cafeteria. Grants are being used most often to add dairy and fruit smoothies to school menus. Smoothies have been a student favorite for several years, and we are excited to see more schools adding them to their menus.
