Resources for Reopening Businesses:
On May 8, 2020, the City of Long Beach announcedthat retail businesses, with modified operations and proper sanitizing and physical distancing protocols in place, can reopen for curbside pickup and delivery services only. This announcement aligns with the reopening direction set forth by Governor Newsom.

COVID-19 Business Relief Grant Fund Opportunity:
Fourth District Supervisor Janice Hahn and the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) are administering a COVID-19 Business Relief Grant Fund. Businesses with five or fewer employees are eligible to receive up to $5,000. Grant funds must be used for working capital only. Please note that there is a 24-hour application period. Businesses owners will be able to submit applications starting today, May 13, 2020, at noon and the application period will close tomorrow, May 14, 2020, at noon.
