Meet Nina, a sweet girl who made her way to us from West Virginia after her previous owners brought her into a shelter following a witnessed seizure. They claimed they couldn’t care for her, but had never even taken her to a vet to find out what was wrong.

When a dog has medical needs, they need a family who will step up, not walk away. That is exactly what we did.

Nina was diagnosed with a seizure disorder, but the great news is that she is now safely managed and thriving on Keppra to control her seizures. But managing a chronic condition requires extra veterinary support, medication, and close monitoring.

Nina didn't ask to be let down by the people who were supposed to protect her. This $5 Friday, we’re asking our community to help us cover the cost of her medical evaluation, ongoing medication, and her fresh start at Greenmore.

Will you give $5 to support Nina’s medical care today?
