Meet Annie, a very special dog who survived a heartbreaking ordeal in West Virginia. She was found trapped inside a home alongside her elderly owner, who had passed away.
Annie was likely left alone for weeks before firefighters finally broke down the door to free her. When she was found, she was emaciated to near death and completely covered in fleas. Because of our experience handling complex medical cases, the local shelter immediately called us to step in.
