$57.2 Million Closed and Title in 1st Quarter
With $57.2 million closed and in title, Q-1 was our best quarter ever. I knew it was going to be strong, but had no idea we'd be at this level last December.

I've learned never to doubt what this wonderful team of agents and admins can do. They're all hard workers and totally committed to our clients. That leads to happy customers and they often refer their friends and family to us.

What's the most popular month to list a house?

Out of curiosity, I Googled "best month to list a home" and the following quote from Zillow appeared ...

"Nationally, the best time to sell a house is March if you're trying to sell quickly, while the best time to maximize profit is July. Zillow recommends listing your home for sale in March, but no later than Labor Day, based on historical market trends".

March is a great time to have your home on the market, but keep in mind, every home we sold in March was already on the market in February. There's a lot to be said for being one of the first homes out there because you capture the early bird buyers and there's less competition with other homes.

As for July being "the best time to maximize profit", that might have been true at one time, but that's late in the season these days. I'd bet most agents working family communities in this area will agree by July the market has already started to soften and by August there's a real slowdown.
