Creating Beloved Community : Racial Reconciliation in the Episcopal Church
Sundays through April 7, 10:15-10:45 AM, Parlor
As the Episcopal branch of the Jesus Movement, we dream and work to foster Beloved Communities where all people may experience dignity and abundant life and see themselves and others as beloved children of God. Join your clergy team at these special adult forums as we explore the Episcopal Church’s path towards racial reconciliation . Together, we can grow as reconcilers, justice-makers, and healers in the name of Christ.
Got a question about Realm?
Chances are, you aren't the only one!
Realm is the online community for CCE. We use it to manage our member database, post important news, join groups, register for events, make financial contributions, and much more. All that online activity is great ... and bound to present some challenges for users!

If you have a question about Realm -- something's just not working right or maybe you'd like to use it better -- email your questions to Kathy Nunn . Kathy will submit the answers to the CCE Group in Realm so we can all learn more and stretch our Realm muscles a bit.
We're all Easter People ... why not join the Easter Choir?
Adults and children are invited to join in singing Alleluia on Easter morning! This is a great way to participate in the choir without any long-term commitment.

Adults: Rehearsals on Thursdays 3/21, 3/28, 4/4 and 4/11, 7:15-8:15 pm. Combined choirs (Adult & Children) rehearsal on Wednesday 4/17 6:30-8:00 pm. The adult choir will sing at 9:00 & 11:00 AM on Sunday, April 21.
Kids: ages K-5th. Rehearsals Wednesdays 4/27 and 4/10. Combined choirs (Adult & Children) rehearsal on Wednesday 4/17 6:30-7:30pm. The children's choir will sing at 9:00 AM service on Easter Sunday, April 21.
Have you submitted a Time & Talent Survey
God has gifted and equipped each of us with spiritual and material gifts to use within the church and out in the world to make Christ and his reconciling love known. These gifts are to be nourished and stewarded as a part of Christian discipleship. For the next few weeks, we will be gathering Time & Talents surveys. Paper copies will be available at worship -- just fill it out and leave it in the mailbox mounted in the worship vestibule. You can also click here to take the survey online . Please take a few moments to fill out a survey, reflecting on how God is calling you to be a minister of the Gospel.
Shrine Mont Camp helps relationships grow
The Diocese of Virginia’s summer camp program at Shrine Mont promotes the emotional and spiritual development of children, youth, and young adults through the fostering of a safe and positive environment for all. At camp, all are encouraged to grow in their relationships with self, others, and God. Oh, and it's tons of fun! Just ask Addie Burtch...!

Plan ahead and get a great deal on the book, "Sing"
In June we will offer a 3-part Sunday morning forum series based on the book "Sing." Reading and discussing this book together will hopefully inspire us all to sing out more, both at home and in worship at church. For a limited time, the book is 62% off! We thought some of you would want to go ahead and purchase the book now to take advantage of this great deal.
Softball Practice starts soon and you are invited to try it out
Our softball team plays in the Western Henrico County Church League with other local churches, synagogues, and mosques. Practice starts soon for the season (April-July) and we invite YOU to try it out. The team plays Tuesday nights, mostly on fields in the West End. The team philosophy is to have fun, enjoy the fellowship and play a little softball (in this order). Previous experience is not needed. Many new teammates come to the first practice and say "I have not played in years...I hope I still know how to play."  We welcome them and say it does not matter -- just show up and have fun. Join the Softball Team Group in Realm to join and contact Rev. Richard Pelkey with questions.
