Sold out house, delicious food, and AMAZING winners. The Business Excellence Awards was another success. Bess Wills, The SDF Collective, Sugar Cubed, Brian York, Lori Stahlman, Moen Machinery, Gresham Biscuits Cafe, Cascade Athletic Club, and 100+ Women Who Care East County.

From the small business winner, The 2022 winners were The SDF Collective, to the Honoree of the Year, Bess Wills, the audience was introduced to the Business Excellence Winners one by one. Each winner had a tremendous and impactful story to tell.

City of Gresham Police Chief at Adopt-A-Cop Massage Chair unveiling

Thank you community, for the strong and generous support of our officers. Funds were donated to purchase two massage chairs plus $1300 for upgrades to the relaxation room where the chairs will be housed. The unveiling ceremony was attended by dozens of donors and supporters of the Adopt-A-Cop program.

Vote NO on Capital Gains Tax Measure 26-238

Every Multnomah County resident is subject to this new tax.
Portland and Multnomah County already have successful programs paid for by tax dollars, and assistance and evictions for low-income residents.
The new tax funds free attorneys for renters, no matter what income level of a renter.
Local family-owned businesses will pay, while the biggest corporations will not be required to pay.
Seniors will pay when they sell their homes intending to fund health and end-of-life expenses or withdraw retirement savings (which is required for many).
No income thresholds for who would receive free services.
Tax is required to be adjusted annually.
