Leonard Gilbert, a past winner of the College's Distinguished Service Award and a partner with Holland & Knight in Tampa, Fla., spoke at the International Bar Association's Global Insolvency & Restructuring Conference in Amsterdam on the topic, "The long arm of insolvency proceedings: the extraterritorial reach of domestic avoidance provisions," on May 7.
Richards Kibbe & Orbe LLP on April 16 disclosed that Christopher Andrew Jarvinen, an accomplished bankruptcy attorney possessing nearly two decades of experience handling complex business and litigation issues arising in the context of corporate restructurings, has joined the firm as a partner in its New York office.
