As we near the end of February, ACO faces another month that is traditionally low in financial donations. Coming off of the holiday season, many do not think about the need NOW- those families who are struggling to pay high heating bills or simply keep food on the table or pay their rent. But I can assure you that the need is real and our need for your gifts is as well.
It seems as though I am always asking for your help. My ask for February is simple. Cash donations. No matter how large or small, your financial gifts make an impact right here in our communities. Impact Report 2018
ACO welcomes Amy Gnadt  as the President of the Board of Directors this year. Amy served her first term on the ACO Board in 2014 and she has a long history as a community volunteer. We asked Amy if she could share why she has been so committed to ACO. Amy's words were, "I can only respond by saying, life-altering tragedy can happen to anyone. When I was 2 years old, my dad died of a sudden heart attack at the age of 38. My mother was challenged with finding a job for the first time and raising 3 children under the age of 12.
