Join us for the 3rd Annual Claremont Hispanic Heritage Celebration on Thursday, September 24, 2026—an exciting day-to-night experience celebrating Hispanic and Latino culture, heritage, creativity, achievement, and community.
RAÍCES (rah-EE-sehs)—Spanish for “roots”—reflects our commitment to understanding where we come from, celebrating who we are, and preserving what we leave behind. Now in its third year, the Claremont Hispanic Heritage Celebration has taken root as a signature cultural experience honoring the people, traditions, achievements, and stories that have shaped Claremont and the greater Pomona Valley.
This year, the celebration expands into an exciting double feature, beginning with the inaugural Claremont RAÍCES Film Festival, showcasing a curated selection of Hispanic and Latino films and filmmakers from Mexico, Latin America, and beyond.
The celebration then moves to the spectacular historic Padua Hills Theatre for an evening honoring the people whose talent, leadership, service, and creativity are making an impact on screen, in our communities, and across our culture.
From distinguished Latino artists and our 2026 Celebrity Grand Marshal, Emilio Rivera, to the inaugural Cultural Impact & Community Legacy Awards, RAÍCES recognizes those who are helping shape the cultural landscape today while carrying our heritage forward for future generations.
Together, we honor the artists, families, entrepreneurs, civic leaders, and organizations who elevate our stories, strengthen our communities, expand representation, and carry our heritage and legacy forward.
Following the awards, the evening culminates with a vibrant courtyard celebration under the stars, featuring food, hosted drinks, live music, dance and cultural performances, vendors, and community connections—all celebrating where we come from, who we are, and what we leave behind.
Tickets are $60 each and include admission to the evening Celebration & Awards, as well as admission to the RAÍCES Film Festival (location TBD) with advance RSVP.
The Claremont Hispanic Heritage Celebration has become a much-anticipated annual tradition and typically sells out, so we encourage you to reserve your tickets early.
