The deadline to enter the student video contest for Know Vape is Monday, April 15.


Open to Idaho students 13 to 18 years old. Just create and upload your 90-second video, and you could win a portion of the more than $10,000 in prize money being awarded.

April 8: Livestream the Eclipse with NASA and NOVA

On Monday, April 8, the U.S. will witness its last total solar eclipse until 2044. Although Idaho is not in the viewing path, this eclipse will plunge locations in the line of totality into darkness for more than four minutes–nearly twice as long as the last American eclipse in 2017.

Working Together for Kindergarten Readiness

On March 26, Idaho Public Television Education staff and volunteers from Blue Cross of Idaho and IDeal assembled 1,000 kindergarten readiness kits, which will be provided for free to Idaho youngsters registering for kindergarten in April and May 2024.


Kits were funded in part by the Micki and Dan Chapin Fund in the Idaho Community Foundation and the Idaho Community Foundation.
