Letter from Fr. Joseph:

Dear brothers and sisters,

As you may know, a sacrilegious "black mass" is scheduled to take place at 3pm today in Atlanta by the so-called Satanic Temple. This inversion of the Holy Mass will include the desecration of a consecrated Host that was stolen from a Catholic Church. I ask everyone to offer today as a day of prayer and fasting, in reparation for this satanic blasphemy.

Last Sunday we offered a Holy Hour of Reparation in response to this blasphemy and again last Wednesday night we offered the Rosary and reparation prayers on Zoom that went beyond the parish borders.

Please try your best to attend Holy Mass today and receive Jesus worthily and lovingly, and also make a Holy Hour- to honor the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus in His true Presence and majesty. This is our response: not being cowed nor fearful, but believing with an even deeper faith in the Real Presence of Jesus, knowing that Jesus will never abandon us, even if some people abandon and mock Him.

For those who did not get to join us last Sunday at our Holy Hour of Reparation, please pray the REPARATION PRAYERS TO THE EUCHARISTIC HEART OF JESUS that is posted below. Pray this with your family, preferably as you make your Holy Hour today.

ALL SAINTS DAY is a Holy Day of Obligation

Masses are at 12 Noon and 8pm

Both Masses will be in the rectory chapel.

(Note for the First Friday Sacred Heart devotees: Alliance of Two Hearts and Cenacle will begin after the Mass)

Saturday, November 2, 2024 is All Souls' Day

ALL SOULS' DAY NOVENA OF MASSES FOR OUR BELOVED DEPARTED

We will have an All Souls Novena of Masses for 9 days for our departed loved ones. This will go from Nov. 2 , thru Nov 10.

You may pick up All Souls offering envelopes at the entrances of the Church, and Chapel. Inside the envelopes are cards where you can write all the names of your departed loved ones.

These cards will be put on the altar at every Mass during the Novena and for the whole month of November.

You are welcome to enclose your Mass donation in the All Souls offering envelope and drop this in the collection baskets at any of the Masses.

November is the month when we pray for the Holy Souls in Purgatory!

Our Catholic Faith teaches us that the souls of the faithful departed must be entirely purified before they enter into eternal rest in Heaven. We know that the souls of most people who have died in friendship with God must be purified in Purgatory.

The holy souls in Purgatory are in great need of our prayers. Scripture and Tradition tell us that the holy souls in Purgatory need our prayers, and that it is a holy work to pray for the souls of the dead who are suffering in Purgatory. 

The Church views the act of praying for the souls in Purgatory with such importance that she has included this work in the seventh spiritual work of mercy: “Praying for the living and the dead.”

Let’s offer our prayers for the souls of those who are awaiting their eternal heavenly rest through this Novena for the Holy Souls in Purgatory!

This class part of what is called RCIA.   RCIA stands for: “Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.”

This program is for:

- Those adults 17 years old and older who are not baptized and want to inquire about becoming Catholic OR

- Those who are baptized non-Catholic Christians who want to consider becoming Catholic. OR

- Adult Catholics (17 years or older) who have not received Confirmation or Holy Communion.

WEDDINGS. Contact the parish office one year in advance of the proposed marriage date.

INFANT BAPTISM. Expectant parents should call the office to register for the baptism of your baby. and for baptism classes with Fr Joseph. Baptisms at St Antoninus Church are celebrated during Sunday 10am Mass.. DOWNLOAD form needed before scheduling any meetings with the pastor.

CATECHISM CLASSES FOR CHILDREN - take place on Sundays, from 8:00am to 9:45am. (new hours)

ADULT BAPTISM & other Sacraments of Initiation – call to register.



RCIA Class is every Sunday at 12:30pm. Call to register.
