BCSD Alumni Conner Ives (FLHS '14) designed an incredible dress worn by Natalia Bryant at the Met Gala 2021. You can see one of his other designs in person now at the Met as part of their In America: A Lexicon of Fashion exhibit.

Why we NEED the Arts

FAME asked the question: What do the Arts mean to you? Here are some student/community responses highlighting just how vital the Arts are here are BCSD.

We need YOU to bring more Arts to students at BCSD!

Our amazing elementary music teachers Anne Marie Kmetz and Carolyn Scimone-Rowan are in need of our help. Two classrooms in our district, BHES and MKES have had to share supplies with other classrooms. Can you help bring these spaces up to speed with the tools and instruments vital for making music happen? 100% of your donations will go directly to this effort and you can choose exactly what you what to get off of their wish list.
