I promised you I would highlight local arts groups during this no-live-events time...ones whose events I would normally PICK for this blog.  Herewith is my " (Almost) Daily Dose Arts PICKS " round-up from last week (April 6-10). Tonight would have been the kick-off for the Houston Art Car Parade weekend, all events of which have been cancelled (SIGH). My Phoenix Rising Art Car and I are really sad, as are so many of my artist friends and our audience. HOWEVER: there is a virtual art car parade happening this Saturday (4/18) and this Sunday (4/19)! Click on this link to follow along.
