Annual Bronze Sale, Educational Workshops, Performances, and more!

Bronze Sale

Thursday - Sunday, October 19th to 22nd

It's that time of year again when Cosanti Originals is offering 15% off all bronze products* and jewelry! Join us at our Paradise Valley location to enjoy this once-a-year opportunity to save on our handcrafted wares!

The Cosanti Foundation is supported largely by the sale of artisanal products sold by Cosanti Originals. A purchase of our one-of-a-kind products directly helps the Cosanti Foundation accomplish our mission of building an urban laboratory that models sustainable practices for an increasingly challenging world.

Since 1965, our efforts to demonstrate a different way of living and building that brings people closer to nature and closer to each other have inspired thousands. The creation of each Originals Windbell directly connects to the silt-casting methods employed to create our world-famous architecture. When you purchase an Originals Windbell, you are tapping into a rich history of craftsmanship practiced in Arizona for the last 58 years.

Farm to Table workshop

September 25th - October 31st

End of summer harvest, beginning of fall planting

Come and be a part of our Farm to Table workshop, an immersive experience within the Arcology where you can actively engage in a closed loop food system. Across a span of five weeks, you'll experiment in diverse farming techniques. Additionally, you'll collaborate with the café team, mastering the art of crafting imaginative seasonal dishes.

Construction & Archives Workshops

November 6th - December 1st

This August we launched a Construction and an Archives Workshop, allowing participants to have more in-depth experiences in focused fields. Workshoppers completed the first phase of the Camp Kitchen extension, as well as curated a photo exhibit about the construction of our world famous Vaults, now on display in our Vicolo Primo. We enjoyed hosting these workshops so much, that we decided to offer them again this fall!

Construction Workshop

Arcosanti is building again! This workshop will continue the building of the first new construction in our Camp residence in years. Tasks may include interior outfitting, wood-working, plastering, stucco, insulating, electrical, and plumbing. Participants will also help in other needed remodeling and repair tasks throughout our architecture on site. The entire workshop centers the mission of arcology: to build a human habitat in harmony with nature.

Archives Workshop

Our Archives is the largest repository of Arcology thought and design, where we help pass the legacy of The Cosanti Foundation to the next generation of archivists. Our facilities include an

environment-controlled archives unit, with digitizing methods, storage areas, and virtual reality simulations. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our historical canon of art, text,

architectural models, photographs and more all while learning professional archival methods and practices.

Clay Pit-Firing Weekend Workshop

Saturday and Sunday, October 7th - 8th

Join us for a two-day weekend workshop where you will have the opportunity to learn and participate in an ancient form of firing pottery that uses natural materials and requires no gas or electricity. Learn about Land Stewardship at Arcosanti and the history of this ancient firing method. Check out our workshop page to see the full weekend schedule, what to bring, and plan your overnight accommodations.
