This Week's Episode

This week on State of the Arts...

Deborah Jack fuses film and poetry as she explores the intersections of cultural histories and climate change. We go on location with the artist in New Orleans and at her studio in Jersey City.

Nimbus Dance goes on stage with the full New Jersey Symphony for a reimagined Firebird, casting Stravinsky’s classic ballet in a present-day world of love, trauma and loss.

And at Rowan University, artists Syd Carpenter and Jack Larimore connect the campus to its Pine Barrens surroundings with Batsto Homestead, an installation for the new Student Center.
