UNITE INDY partners with individuals, suburban churches, business leaders, and public officials to mobilize resources to support urban churches, ministries & charities struggling to help those in need.
What one church is doing  has turned a school from failing to thriving! The collaboration between IPS School 61 and Connection Pointe Christian Church is benefitting the whole community by making teachers and students feel valued and supported as it yields higher grades and an atmosphere of success. Next is a school-based community center where families can learn and play together.
Their example can make a difference to the future of our city!
Major players turned out to take part in UNITE INDY's first official Round Table event on racism and poverty in Indianapolis. This was a no-holds-barred discussion that you will want to read. We think you'll be impressed with the people who are working to make these issues a thing of the past here in our city.

More people are volunteering
and looking for ways to make a difference! Go to  UNITE INDY for a virtual storefront of needs you can fill:
Volunteer  — You can select what works for you.

Donate Goods — Maybe a single mom needs a stroller...or children's clothing is always helpful.

Give Money — Now you're talkin'. Not much gets done without it...so if you can, UNITE INDY will pass 100% of your donation to a deserving service organization.

For all our friends who didn't see the news piece by Vic Ryckaert in the Indianapolis Star, we thought we'd give you a link here. We are so blessed to be working with community pastors, leaders and just all people of good will in this city to move the needle to a better place for our neighbors in need. Our goal is to reach into every neighborhood with abounding care and friendship. We believe Indianapolis will lead the way for all cities if we work together!
