April 24: RYSE Youth Center's "Be a Kid!" Fundraiser
I hope you'll join me Friday, April 24 for the Be a Kid! annual fundraiser for the RYSE Youth Center in Richmond.

At the RYSE Center, youth receive a host of services covering health and wellness, education and employment, and leadership training. There's also a range of enriching activities including media and performance arts, gardening, and sports.

Now in its 6th year, RYSE has served more than 3,000 young people. As one of its founders and a current RYSE board member, I personally see the positive differences it makes in the lives of our youth.

"Be a Kid!" is RYSE's major annual fundraising event (for grown-ups), and it's truly lots of fun!  This year's theme is Back to the Future, with a diversity of activities from earlier decades including music, karaoke, art, dancing, games, and delicious food and drinks.
