Wine Tasting at The Grotto

Join us for an afternoon of wine tasting, followed by a guided tour through our Upper Gardens.

Chillable Reds have become incredibly popular over the last several years and are perfect for summer sipping in the sun. Chillable Reds are lighter in tannins, making them enjoyable to those who typically shy away from red wine. This class will include a flight of six wines, a hearty selection of snacks, and a guided tour of our Upper Gardens to end the afternoon.

When did you first come to The Grotto?

About 14 years ago. I would have been 46 years old.

What was your first impression?

It was beautiful and magical. I was impressed.

What is your favorite place at The Grotto?

Standing facing the outdoor sanctuary, and again during the Christmas Festival of Lights with the angels lit up high on the cliffs.

What is your favorite place in the Upper Gardens?

The Meditation Chapel. I love the view.

Do you have any special memories?

I have come to the Festival of Lights with friends and family for many years in a row. I just love coming and seeing the lights and listening to the music.

What do you love most about The Grotto?

Its beauty and peacefulness.
