If you're alive and well right now, you're thinking beauty has her hands full. Saving the world has never been an easy task.

Not now and not in Dostoevsky's time.

Because the Charles Bruce Foundation works with splendid artists who create beauty in a wide variety of ways, we are hopeful that their efforts - and our support of them - will make your world a little more decent.

We'd like to propose a gathering - some nice music and a way to get together and say nice things to each other. Perhaps one night in March.

Send us your ideas. We always want to learn from you about the things that would make our community feel more supported by the artists around them.

In just a few weeks, folks in the Carlisle Area will be able to peruse artwork created by Ukrainian artists. Truly talented individuals 16 to 60+ have continued to create, while living in the crosshairs of invasion and war.

The 16 day show will also feature talks by Ukrainian Americans.

Mariya Anosova - who is catering (along with her mom) the Feb. 24 reception - will speak about Ukrainian Food as Cultural Resistance on February 14, at 2 pm in the Stuart Gallery.

Valeria Beussink will discuss Wartime Culture of Ukraine & Life as Ukrainian Expats in the U.S. on the 21st also at 2 p.m. in the Stuart Gallery.
