July 2026 Embryo Adoption NEWS!

By God's Grace, Baby Boaz James "Bo" is Here!

Born July 8, 2026

"It was long road leading up to delivery, but Christ was present the whole time with us and reminded us of the meaning of total surrender to Him - and how He answers prayer!

"Noelle is doing so well and healing quickly, and for all of labor baby Boaz was vigorous and strong with NO detectable added stress to him. God's protection was over him (& her!) the whole time has been truly incredible.

"We are so thankful for the gift of this little image bearer - Bo continues to be as strong after birth as during pregnancy & our prayer is that in the end he will have quite the tale of his own in the ultimate grand Story our Savior is writing."

Embryo Adoption Growing Families!

Abram is Four Already

"We wanted to update you on Abram. He is doing SO wonderfully! Since turning 4 years old, he has learned so much! He recently learned to ride a bike without training wheels. He also is swimming like a little fish now, and is starting a stroke class next month to work towards joining swim team next summer when he is 5. We were so surprised when he told us he loves swim more than soccer! So, for the fall he will be doing swim and baseball (his other favorite right now), instead of soccer. He is also really loving Toy Story right now. He enjoys pretending to be Spider Man any chance he gets right now, too! That’s always really entertaining."

~Lauren and Shawn - proud parents

"Abram is still extremely smart. He is learning to read and do addition. He knows directions sometimes better than most adults do, which always surprises us. He has boundless energy and is so tenacious. He is still just a very sweet, loving, wonderful little boy, as he's always been." ~Lauren

"We don't remember if we had mentioned this before or if you had maybe noticed in pictures already, but his eyes wound up turning from blue to hazel green. He has the biggest, prettiest eyes! We attached some recent photos. Thank you for everything! We will never stop being grateful!" ~Lauren

Reading Resources About Adoption

What do we tell our kids adopted as an embryo?

Celebrate the journey of adoption through a story that overflows with love, laughter, and trust in God’s perfect timing.

"While We Waited For You isn’t just a story—it’s a tender reflection of what it feels like to long for a child you haven’t met yet. Written in playful rhyme and filled with whimsical illustrations, this book shares the everyday moments, silly adventures, and quiet prayers that filled our hearts while we waited for the one who would complete our family."

The question most often asked of us is, "What do we tell our kids?"

This book is a great way to "get started". : )
