Just in time for Tisha B'av, the saddest day on the Jewish calendar, brought about by our lack of brotherly love, this program will highlight the lives and relationships of two community members on the way to "Bridging the Gap." 

Host: Shani Kramer
  Shani is the Program Director for the Jewish Federation of St. Joseph Valley. She is passionate about creating amazing programming that will enhance the lives of those in our community. Shani is entering her eighth year here in South Bend and just found out there is a correct and incorrect way of pronouncing South Bend! She lives on the "south side" with her husband Aryeh and 4 adorable kids. In her not so spare time, she enjoys doing ceramics and reading a good book. She can be reached at skramer@thejewishfed.org.

Anne Feferman
Anne is a credit union executive who specializes in meeting the business banking needs of non-profits, commercial entities, and municipalities. Born and raised in South Bend, IN, Anne is heavily involved in community activities, currently serving as Vice President of South Bend/Mishawaka Leadership, Vice President of the Jewish Federation of St. Joseph Valley, Governance Secretary of the South Bend Community School Education Foundation, Past President of both the South Bend Museum of Art and Temple Beth-El. She is also an active member of the South Bend Rotary Club. Anne is most passionate about diversity and inclusion, and developing communities that embrace and celebrate differences. Simon Springer
Simon is the Director of the Community Development Initiative in South Bend. He is responsible for helping to grow Jewish South Bend. He and his wife Danielle and 3 beautiful children moved here 3 years ago from the east coast. They liked it so much, they brought Danielle's parents over to live! Simon is on the board of various local institutions and is an active member of the South Bend Rotary Club. He is a fan of healthy eating and enjoys planting fruits, vegetables and a lot of basil in his backyard! He can be reached at simons@thejewishfed.org.
