Celebrating Springfield's Biggest, Best and Brightest!
BRIGHT NIGHTS AT FOREST PARK
 SPECIAL EDITION
Your Magical Journey Awaits!

Bright Nights at Forest Park will come to light on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, and sparkle all the way through the holiday season with more than 675,000 lights along a three-mile drive. This year, Santa’s Magical Forest will be open with souvenirs, snacks, and rides on a magical carousel.
Visitors come from near and far to experience Bright Nights at Forest Park, which has earned the reputation of being the Northeast’s premier holiday lighting experience. To think it is right here in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Many of the displays celebrate Springfield’s rich history, from Seuss Land in honor of Theodor Geisel, to Toy Land for Milton Bradley Games that began in Springfield in 1860. The magnificent mansion that reflects in the ponds is a replica of Everett Hosmer Barney’s home that sat high on the hill overlooking the city. Mr. Barney invented the modern ice skate like the ones worn on the skaters in Victorian Village where visitors will also find a replica of the Springfield newspaper’s first building. One of the most recognizable displays in Bright Nights is the Springfield Municipal Group with Santa flying high above wishing everyone Happy Holidays!
These are just some of the magical displays that make the journey through Bright Nights at Forest Park so spectacular. Making it even more memorable are the people it is shared with, whether it be a carload of family, friends out for a holiday dinner, a bus full of holiday revelers, or a couple on date night. Make your own memories with a visit and a stop at Santa’s Magical Forest.
Tickets must be purchased in advance online at brightnights.org or at Big Y World Class Markets.

Letters to Santa

Santa will be making special appearances through Bright Nights at Forest Park. Some nights, he will be waving to visitors as they arrive. On December 5th and 12th, he will be dining at the Barney Carriage House for Supper with Santa.
To send him a note, a holiday greeting, or wish list, letters can be left in the mailbox outside the gift shop in Santa's Magical Forest. Letters can also be sent online!

Be sure to include return address so he and the elves can respond.
