BACC President's Message
Building Prosperity, Enhancing Commerce,
BACC Membership Drives Success

For over 50 years the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce has been the backbone of the region's business community; bringing together leaders, startups, entrepreneurs, big and small business alike to foster a community of opportunity. We work together to drive success.

As an organization and together with our members, our programs, resources and connections enhance business opportunities in the Barrington area. For instance, our Family Expo scheduled for August 21 will not only lead to new and stronger B2B partnerships, it will result in greater community exposure and awareness for your business.

In addition, BACC networking events such as our Midday Mix monthly lunch foster new business introductions, the first step in creating more powerful relationships. BACC marketing vehicles including our printed publications, our local advertising and our social media presence, add third-party credibility that strengthens your own marketing efforts.

The BACC Welcome Neighbor Program delivers your business information to new residents each month and puts the BACC website directory on their radar for referrals as they develop new buying patterns. In fact, when residents have a question about our local communities, BACC is one of the first numbers they call.

Events like the Wine Walks and Classic Collectors Car Show offer members the chance for greater exposure and result in dollars spent here that benefit all who work, live, play and visit here. Our networking events bring together professionals dedicated to helping one another succeed.

During the month of May we are hosting our annual Membership Drive to grow the strength of the alliance we have together. If you are connected to someone who is not a member, recruit them today. -- Suzanne Corr, BACC President
