Rhododendron Conference Comes to Parksville
September 27, 2019, several hundred rhododendron and gardening enthusiasts will congregate in Parksville for two days to celebrate this iconic shrub that grows so well on the West Coast, and also explore and enjoy the many attractions in this part of the island. Hosted by the Mt. Arrowsmith Rhododendron Society, speakers and garden tours will focus on our theme – “Rhododendrons as the World Warms” – including information on growing healthy plants while conserving water and protecting the environment.
We invite local businesses to assist us by contributing to the speakers’ fund or donating to the silent auction.
