I am honored to introduce you to Major David Woods with the Duncan, OK, PD. He lost over 20 pounds during the C2C Reset 13-week course. As the second in command and Deputy Chief, Major Woods did a fantastic job leading the charge and showing up each week. Just showing up each week is hard for these hero's, as the demands of their jobs are constantly pulling at them. He showed up while on duty and on days off. You will see that if you work it, it works!

"I am David Woods and to give you some background on me, I am the assistant chief at the Duncan Police Department. I have been an officer for 26 years and I am now 51 years old. Prior to starting The C2C program, I had not been working out and I had not been dieting. I weighed about 237 lbs (give or take). For the last 2 years I have experienced extreme neck pain due to an old injury, I had an MRI and was exploring options for pain management.

My spiritual relationship with God was good but I am always eager to learn more. My Chief recently completed the C2C program and encouraged me to take the course. After I started the class I realized how weak and out of shape, I had let myself get. The workouts were very difficult, but I stayed faithful to the program. I also began to change many of my eating habits and became aware of a lot of unhealthy foods I had been eating. I also began to take many of the supplements Brian had suggested to us in class.

I listened to Brian each week as he presented us with lessons that were grounded in the Bible to help us grow spiritually and emotionally as well and his TAP principle was great! At the end of the 12-week program I weighed 213 lbs. and I am still going! I have noticed a tremendous change in my strength and stamina. My neck pain has reduced by 90%, it hasn’t felt this good in a log long time!

I feel that my relationship with God has continued to progress, and I have gained self confidence and “re-wired” my brain from some old negative thoughts that had held me back. In the lessons many of the guys shared very personal stories and I feel like we became closer as a group. I am extremely grateful to Brian and to the sponsors who helped make this program possible for our department.

I believe it is powerful and if a person has the courage to change Brian’s program is life changing!
