$86.3 million is available, through the
Sustainable Groundwater Planning Grant Program, for the planning, development, or preparation of groundwater sustainability plans.
At least $10 million of that amount will be made available to projects that serve severely disadvantaged communities.
Join researchers from the atmospheric sciences, the ecological sciences, mathematicians, computer sciences, climatologists, social scientists, health professionals, smoke responders and others to discuss the complex issues of wildland fire smoke and identify knowledge gaps and opportunities for innovation and development.
This symposium offers all those involved in water resources, management, conservation and sustainability, as well as environmental specialists and other stakeholders the chance to come together to discuss ways to overcome existing challenges in preparing for and responding to the state's extreme climate variability.
