HOT NEWS
We are thrilled to announce that the conference Gala Dinner and Ceilidh will be held in Glamis Castle (
www.glamis-castle.co.uk) - a 30 minute journey from Dundee into rural Angus, with fabulous views along the way. Transportation will be provided.
Glamis is the seat of the Earls of Strathmore and Kinghorne, and one of the most stunning castles in Britain. The evening will be memorable, with pipers, hog roasts and a ceilidh band.
This will be the third in a series of international conferences focussed on invasive alien species (IAS) on islands, their impact and management. It follows those held in Auckland, New Zealand, in 2001 and 2010*. The Dundee conference will therefore be the first such meeting for seven years, and the first to be held in the northern hemisphere.
