What to expect if you come to the Outdoor Worship Saturday

We’re excited to be able to gather outdoors for informal worship this Saturday, June 13 at 7 p.m. If you’re considering joining us in person this Saturday, you might have questions about what to expect when you arrive. Here are some brief notes:

Social Distancing
Areas are marked off appropriately spaced on the lawn for your convenience. Please set up your lawn chairs and/or canopy on one of the marked areas.
Can I hug everyone? No. This will be hard, we know! But smile from a distance and let them know you’ve missed them!
We have made the decision to require facemasks for everyone over the age of 2 while inside the building. Outdoors, we encourage but do not require facemasks. If you would like a mask, just ask! Our Mask Ministry has provided us with some and we’d love to share them with you!
Offering and Attendance
We will have receptacles available for you to place your offering in. As always, you can still Text to Give, or give online via our website. We’ll track attendance through our Church Center App to keep an accurate record, should contact tracing be necessary in the future.
Coffee & Fellowship
We do not plan to use the building or be inside, so bring your own water or refreshments and snacks for now.
Your Children
As you likely know, there will not be a Nursery available or Children’s Ministry classes for now. There will be children’s packets w/ pencils, crayons, and activities that you can pick up when you arrive.
We will celebrate Communion together this Saturday! We have individual, pre-packaged wafers and juice which will be distributed to your family when you arrive.
We’re excited! So don’t see this as a list of “don’ts or what we can’t do …we’re so excited that we can gather, safely outdoors on our beautiful property.  But it’s a trial run, friends! So let’s see how it goes.
Peace, Pastor Kathy
