For more than 110 years, the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom has worked to build a world at peace with racial, social, and economic justice for all. Today, WILPF continues that work by connecting local organizing to global action and bringing together people committed to addressing the interconnected roots of militarism, inequality, oppression, and conflict.
At WILPF US, our members bring a wide range of experiences, interests, and perspectives to our work for peace, justice, and equality. Membership is not only a way to support that work — it is an opportunity to be part of it and help shape where it goes.
WILPF US members have access to our campaigns, local branches and national network, local-to-global events, and Focus Area Issue Committees, with opportunities to help shape our work and campaign strategy. Membership in WILPF US also connects you to WILPF International and a global network of feminist peace activists in more than 40 countries.
We want to get to know you as part of our community: what issues matter to you, what experiences and ideas you bring, and where you might see yourself getting involved. Members can connect through local branches, Focus Area Issue Committees, national campaigns and projects, events, or as a member at large - always as part of a broader network of people working for peace and justice across the U.S. and internationally.
