This is a reminder that the staff FAQ document will now be featured in every bi-weekly Wednesday bulletin. You can click here to view the updated FAQs from 2/19/25, which include important revisions to our driver protocols for situations involving a traffic stop or raid.

Our Rapid Response Team is meeting weekly to ensure we provide accurate, timely updates while respecting individual privacy. Our goal is to create a calm and informed environment for everyone. We remain dedicated to supporting our learners with essential information in a way that maintains trust and prevents unnecessary concern.

Faculty Shift Assignment Policy | |

Through a collaborative effort, facilitated by EdFuel, faculty and school leadership were able to design a clear process for assigning shifts to faculty to begin in SY25-26. You may access the following slide deck for more details. This policy affects faculty only.
A HUGE shoutout to all the faculty that contributed to our clarification and revision of this process, including those that participated in the survey and those who generously volunteered their time on the Faculty Shift Assignment Committee: Hugh, Alex, Christina, Asha, Adam, Nilay, Mayra, John, Sandra, Olivia,and Paula.

Board of Trustees Meeting Notice | |

The Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School Board of Trustees will hold its regular quarterly meeting on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 6:00 pm – 8:20 pm virtually via Zoom. All are welcome to attend the meeting. Advance registration is required to attend. A formal Notice of Board Meeting (including the meeting agenda) will be posted on the School’s Public Information webpage at least two (2) business days before the meeting.
Anyone who wants to attend the meeting can sign up using this Zoom Webinar Registration Link.

Public Comment Period at Board Meeting: Invitation to Sign Up
The Board initiated last fall a School community public comment period at the beginning of each regular quarterly board meeting. Here is a link to more information about the public comment period. The Board encourages members of the School community to sign up to speak at the upcoming Board meeting!
You can sign up by emailing Bob at rskelton@carlosrosario.org if you wish to speak. There is room for 5 people per board meeting – first-come, first-served. Please be aware that you will also need to register to attend the Board meeting.

Mid-Year Performance Check-Ins | |

Don’t forget! All Mid-Year Check-Ins must be completed and submitted to HR no later than Friday, February 21, 2025. In the upcoming days your supervisor will contact you to set up time to have your Mid-Year Check-In Meeting. Kindly review the email titled Mid-Year Performance Check-in that was sent by HR for detailed instructions on how to prepare for the upcoming meeting

Held in the second week of the semester, the Student Welcome Back Assembly was a dynamic celebration that brought together our diverse student body. The event featured presentations in several languages, ensuring every student felt welcome and well-informed about essential school resources, upcoming events, and available engagement opportunities. It offered a valuable chance for students to connect with peers, meet faculty and staff, and launch the semester on a high note.
