The Chamber is Courage.
When your business is facing its greatest challenges, we are the partner you can trust to be by your side, working for a better tomorrow.
We're the resource you can rely on. Loyal to local since 1922.
We asked, and you answered!
Take a look below at how some of our locals are #CarmelRISING up!
Carmel High School Group
This Club Saves Lives

The club delivers food boxes to employee housing both at Ventana and Post Ranch and has boxes available for community members to pick up at Big Sur River Inn. They also deliver to Rippling River residents in need and families and community members living in Cachagua. Anyone else who needs food can pick up a box on Thursdays between 10-11 at the Carmel Middle School gym. The Carmel School District is generously providing the gym as a Food Bank and is providing district vans for delivery on Thursdays between 11-12, to the above locations.
This Club Saves Lives is providing an essential service in this time of need, and we applaud their efforts! #CarmelRISING

Meet Wanda Vollmer, Founder of Peace of Mind Preparedness
As a child living on a ranch in San Luis Obispo, I remember the wildfires that would frequently threaten our property and livestock and will never forget being awoken in the middle of the night to evacuate during one particularly fast-moving fire. At the age of 24 I created my first preparedness and communication plan for my family and knew I’d found my calling.
I worked for the American Red Cross as a Community Engagement Manager, serving as the lead functional expert for Red Cross Preparedness programs and community partner development and reached over 10,000 individuals with community disaster education programs in addition to recruiting, training, and managing Community Engagement Volunteers.
In addition, I have completed the Monterey Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program. CERT focuses on disaster preparedness, search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations, and I’ve been asked by the Carmel City Council to serve on the steering committee to assist neighbors in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Peace of Mind Preparedness Services will be 15% off through May 11th for Carmel Chamber members!
