In our home, we celebrate and honor the good in our life year ‘round, but for the month of November we take it a step further. We try to remember to focus on the little moments and teach our children that little moments often times become some of our greatest memories. The little things, especially this year, is what gets us each through the really hard things. So, to honor this, each November we complete a Grateful Pumpkin.
During Sunday dinner, we reflect on our week past, share and culminate with what we are grateful for --- whether it’s a phrase, a person or even a place you happened to be. It takes just a few minutes, you don’t need to be crafty and it helps us to stay connected. Over the years, reflecting on past pumpkins is priceless.
