Maintenance Coordinator
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
·          Gather relevant information from the client and create jobs, sites, clients for new customers requesting to become maintenance customers who are not designated as special.
·          Prepare and send quotes to customers requesting maintenance proposals, or service customers following first service. 
·          Receive signed quotes and upon notification from A/R of received payment, setup up new maintenance calls, and subsequent calls upon renewal of the contract.
·          Work with parts department to ensure parts kits are setup for new maintenance customers.
·          Generate, verify, and print the maintenance calls for each month. Sort staple and file accordingly.
·          Work with the service coordinator to schedule these calls.
·          Verify at the end of each month past due calls and work to schedule them asap.
·          Follow up on open maintenance quotes and renewals.
·          For Bill-After contracts provide completed tickets to A/R for final invoicing once all time and material is entered into work order.

The Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce has announced at least 25 gardens will open for touring to benefit eight local non-profits during the 2020 Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival.  Now in its sixth year, the event runs rain or shine for ten days starting on Friday, July 10 th in 2020 through Sunday, July 19 th . Gardens are open from 10 AM to 4 PM, and the entry fee is $5.00 per person at each garden.

Cape Cod residents and visitors will have several opportunities to enjoy beautiful gardens and hydrangea events even in a pandemic year (Those touring gardens will wear masks and practice safe social distancing.) In addition to a good show of flowers on the region’s signature plant, there will be several open gardens and virtual learning events during the festival. Some of the normal festival events have been postponed to 2021, but many outdoor garden visits and virtual events will take place this summer.

The Cape Cod Hydrangea Society will present its annual Hydrangea University lectures virtually. The Hydrangea test gardens at Heritage Museums and Gardens will be open during normal museum hours, and other businesses will be holding virtual talks and outdoor tours as well.

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth resumes elective surgeries, procedures and clinic visits; launches Safe Care initiative 
Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth (BID Plymouth), part of Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH), has resumed non-urgent, elective surgeries, procedures and clinic visits following the state’s lifting of restrictions due to COVID-19 this week. BID Plymouth also announced the launch of BILH Safe Care, a set of rigorous standards to protect the health and safety of patients, visitors and staff. 
As part of the state’s phased re-opening plan, BID Plymouth is again providing a broad range of elective inpatient and outpatient procedures and services, including diagnostic imaging, cardiology, women’s health, and pain management, to name a few. Patients should contact their primary care provider or specialist for more information and to schedule an appointment.
The extraordinary caregivers and staff of BID Plymouth continue to stand ready to meet the health care needs of our patients and our community,” said Kevin Coughlin, president of BID Plymouth. “As we return to providing the in-person services our community needs to remain healthy, we have implemented a number of new safety measures to protect our patients and staff.”
Now in place at BID Plymouth, BILH Safe Care combines new processes, standards and technologies to promote patient safety, including: 
  • A three-point symptom check to confirm patients are not experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 before their in-person visit, as well as daily symptom checks for staff;
  • Separate care areas for patients with symptoms or a diagnosis of COVID-19 in the past 21 days;
  • Universal masking requirements for patients, escorts and staff;
  • Enhanced cleaning and disinfection of exam rooms, high-touch areas and common spaces; and
  • Redesigned spaces to accommodate physical distancing and safe pedestrian traffic flow.

We Are Re-Opening This Summer and Need Your help! 
Here's how the Boys & Girls Club  
is serving children and teens on
 Cape Cod RIGHT NOW during this crisis:
* We are creating & running 2 hours of Virtual Live Programming via Zoom every afternoon as we try to replicate the familiar routine of going to school and then going to the Boys & Girls Club. The information about the live daily programming is sent to parents by email and shared on the Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod's Facebook page. Please take a look at some of our offerings and videos there and on the Club's You Tube page.
* We are continuing to provide individual tutoring and homework help - which is particularly important to both kids and parents now that parents have become teachers! 
* We are creating daily pre-taped videos that kids and parents can access anytime on our Face Book or on our YouTube page. 
* All of our small group clubs, like Girl Talk, and the character and leadership groups -Torch Club and Keystone - are continuing to run at their normal days and times.
Our Art Director is providing Arts programming in crafts and music.
Another staff person is doing English language arts programming, and the
Education Director continues to provide live hands-on STEM and science experiences through both live and in pre-taped videos.
* We are doing daily and weekly Fitness Programming & Challenges with the kids
* We are also providing Community-wide events like the Cape wide Drive by Easter Egg Hunt we just completed and are starting a Cape-wide initiative called "Keep the Kids Hopping," a sidewalk Hopscotch event.
The Staff is out doing Drive-By Visits every other week to visit kids and help celebrate their birthdays.
* Teen Programming is also ongoing online every day and has been very well received, with up to 40 teens a day logging on for games, activities, job skills, and just to talk!
