   Veterans' Blessing Bags Donations
In honor of Veterans Day, the Missions Team is distributing 30 Blessings Bags (10 for women and 20 for men)   to homeless veterans. These bags contain items such as toiletries, undershirts, socks, washcloths and towels, and other personal items. We are hoping to have one or more fast food restaurants donate a gift card to be included in each bag. There will also be a message on a flier in each bag. The Salvation Army has again offered to distribute them for us.

Would you please consider donating any amount that you can to help these deserving veterans out?  They gave a lot for us.  There will be a basket in the narthex to collect your donations again this Sunday, October 27.  You may also mail your donation into the church office and label it Veterans Bags. I do not have the exact price of each bag as of this writing, but I am estimating that they will cost approximately $385. Thank you in advance for your generosity to this worthwhile cause.

These bags will be blessed in church on Sunday, November 3, by Pastor Robin.

Thanks to Deb Whitman for coordinating our second annual event.
