Kids and Car Safety ‘Childproof Your Ride’ Program Addresses #1 Killer of Children – Preventable Vehicle Accidents
WHAT:
Kids and Car Safety will be joined by family advocates and safety partners to talk about the importance of ‘Childproofing Your Ride’ to keep children safe in and around vehicles. Supported by a grant from State Farm Insurance, the program will focus on educating and training parents and caregivers throughout Kansas and Missouri about effective ways to protect their children in and around vehicles. Despite vehicle accidents being the number one killer of children in the United States, “Childproof Your Ride” is the first comprehensive program developed solely to focus on prevention through childproofing.
