Professor Peg's Marketing Tips

Free business promotion? Volunteer.

Volunteering for business promotion involves using these opportunities to enhance a company's reputation and build community relationships, rather than solely focusing on direct sales or advertising. This strategy can improve brand image and generate goodwill with customers and potential clients.

Here are a few examples of volunteering:

Adopt a School - A business can provide resources for some educational needs.

Mentor students in life skills like interview prep, resume creation, or establishing a budget.

Visit a local retirement center or workshop at the library to help people with technology.

Partner with a local faith community to offer your expert services to families in your area. These may be beauty services, a clothing drive for interview attire, and car care.

Partner with an organization to help clean up a local park or playground.

Volunteer work is a positive organizational culture that aids those outside your business. Use these tips and ideas to hold skills value in the office and the outside community.
