Community Collaboration:
March 12 Update on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The Northbrook Park District is working with area organizations in Glenview and Northbrook as part of the Glenview-Northbrook Coronavirus Task Force to provide information and updates to the community.

The Task Force has made a closure decision across the community. As a result, Northbrook Park District's facilities will be closed from Saturday, March 14 through Monday, March 30.

The Task Force will evaluate the situation before Monday, March 30 to determine the status in our community moving forward and we will share plans with you as they are determined.

Northbrook Park District facilities will be open and programs scheduled in our buildings will be held on Friday, March 13. Basketball practices and games as well as other programs held in the schools have already been canceled through April 5, except Adventure Campus which will continue to be held on Friday, March 13.

Additional information regarding make-up classes, postponements, credits and applicable refunds for Northbrook Park District programs will be shared on Friday, March 13 after 3:00pm.

We are closing as a public health precaution, in response to the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) to avoid crowds in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Meals & Food Pantry
The Northfield Township and Maine Township food pantries are open and plan to remain open.
