The Rev. Ellie Johns-Kelley
We are pleased to welcome to the pulpit this Sunday
the Rev. Ellie Johns-Kelley

“Building on relationships and resourcing churches to help them increase funding for their ministry are my top priorities,” says Ellie. “I want to help others realize the vast amount of resources available through the Foundation and work in collaboration with other agencies of the PC(USA).”
Prior to joining the Foundation, Ellie served nearly four years as Pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Warren, Pennsylvania. She also served as Director of the Summer Youth Institute and Assistant Director of Admissions at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.

Luncheon & Workshop:
"Composing A Legacy"
We're offering a luncheon right after coffee hour, for all who are attending a special workshop, "Composing a Legacy, that Ellie will be putting on for us. The workshop will conclude at 1:30PM.
How do we tell the story of God’s grace and love: not just today, but for generations to come? Regardless of our financial means, we all possess the ability to leave a testament regarding what is truly important in our lives. From wills and bequests to trust establishment, this workshop will raise awareness of available ways to make a planned gift to support the mission and ministry of this congregation, and of other charitable causes dear to your heart.
The Presbyterian Foundation, one of the oldest charitable foundations in the country, oversees over $1.1 billion in assets that have been entrusted to it by individual donors, congregations and other Presbyterian organizations. The Foundation exists to serve congregations like ours, offering a variety of tax-saving ways to provide permanent support to underwrite our mission and ministries.
If you love your church, if you've ever thought about making a planned gift either now or at some point in the future, or even if you're thinking about it now for the first time, this event is for you. Let's think, plan and dream together about the many ways of providing a firm foundation for Lamington Church through all the years to come!
Even if you haven't signed up for the workshop, please come anyway: we've ordered some extra food to allow for walk-ins. Hope to see you there!
