STAFF SPEAKING
Here is a note from the Membership & Events Manager, Laura Lawrence:
"It's happening. The season is in full swing and the chamber is bursting with plans for events and opportunities for members to connect. We have already started planning the Lunch Among the Tree's event and before we could even get the registration page up tables were selling. This event has become such a time honored tradition for Prince George business and we can't wait for you to see the Olympian we have speaking this year! On November 30that 11:00am the doors of the Civic Centre open so you can come early to look at the beautiful décor before you settle in for a delicious lunch and listen to our inspiring speaker. Organizing this event has been a labor of love and I can't wait to share it with you!"

MEET THE BOARD PROFILE SERIES
DIRECTOR - PAUL MERCER
COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT MANAGER, RBC
Paul Mercer is a Commercial Account Manager with the Royal Bank of Canada. His specialty field since 2013 has been Business and Health Care professionals. He holds a Master's designation in Business Administration from the University of Northern BC.
As a resident of Prince George he believes in the support that the Prince George Chamber of Commerce strives to provide to their membership. This inspired him to volunteer and join the Chamber's Advocacy Committee for the 2015/2016 term.

UNBC INSTRUCTOR WANTS TO WORK WITH YOUR BUSINESS
Dr Kyrke Gaudreau is UNBC's Sustainability Manager and is an expert consultant in sustainability assessment and complex systems. He is trained in Greenhouse Gas Inventory, Accounting and Reporting. Kyrke also teaches UNBC's Carbon Management course offered in January, 2017. Local businesses that agree to participate as case studies for Kyrke's students will receive a FREE carbon footprint analysis of their business.
