Board Approves Largest Budget in Agency History

The development of the Fiscal Year 2023/2024 Budget is now complete. The proposed budget document was distributed to members of the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) Board of Directors (Board) prior to the Budget Workshop held during the Board meeting on May 3, 2023. SBCTA’s budget process is structured to provide the maximum level of input from all SBCTA policy committees. SBCTA staff provided a budget overview for each program.

Redlands Passenger Rail Project Recognized with Awards

At the June Board of Director’s meeting SBCTA announced that its Redlands Passenger Rail Project (RPRP) was honored with two recent awards. SBCTA was awarded the 2023 John L. Martin Partnered Project of the Year award from the International Partnering Institute. The award is recognition of SBCTA’s approach to construction partnering, bringing together design and construction teams throughout the life of the project to better deliver the project in a timely and cost-effective way.
