Q: What are the best ways for businesses to use design and print services from PostNet?

A: One client, a real estate investment firm, recently switched to us after being disappointed by an online company. This firm sends large batches of postcard maile
rs to targeted mailing lists at regular intervals and includes personalized information on each card (known as "variable data" in our industry). We finalize the design, individually code each card for tracking purposes during print production, bundle the output to facilitate mailing procedures (thereby reducing costs) and work hand-in-hand with our mail house to ensure timely delivery of their marketing piece. For those who think "print is dead," this client raves about their success with this mail program, which is a great example of how successful a coordinated direct mail campaign can be! We will also be printing signage and flyers for them to display at upcoming trade shows.
Q: Are there any new services we need to know about?
A: Believe it or not, there is new technology in mailboxes! (I know, right??) Like everything else these days, mail is going virtual. We have customers all over the country who want an Atlanta address, and local customers who simply want to have a reliable and secure offsite location to receive their mail.
We serve these customers via a mobile app. Our customers use our address (similar to a P.O. Box system), and when mail arrives, we take a picture of the envelope, upload through the app and notify the customer. The customer then provides mail-handling instructions to us through the app, including options such as
: recycle, shred, mail to them, scan and send to them and hold for pickup. It's very simple and secure and minimizes the customer's effort.
