Cross Plains Area Chamber of Commerce
CROSSING PATHS
Words of (not quite) Wisdom
from the Executive Director

Hello Cross Plains!

To those businesses that have not yet joined CPACC, I encourage you to do so before the end of June. As of July 6, 2020 the Chamber will only include members on special communications to include member only opportunities and services. I want to ensure that those businesses that have made a commitment to CPACC receive the attention and dedication that we have promised to them.

Please note that you are welcome to join after July 6, but as of that date, special member only communications will begin. You will be added to those communications as soon as your membership enrollment is received. As well, I will continue sending out a community wide newsletter that provides updates regarding the chamber, it's members and all of our events and specials.

If you have questions about being a member of CPACC and how it can benefit you as individual or your business, please reach out to me directly.

Be Safe & Healthy!

Kind Regards,

Terra Morris
Executive Director

Community Problem Solving Project
Four Young Leaders in the  Wisconsin Future Problem Solving  Club at Middleton High School, decided to start a "Community Problem Solving" project when they learned of the importance and vulnerability of small businesses in the pandemic....They just knew they wanted to help.
So they have created their own Community Resource webpage to encourage local spending, to provide links to resources, to provide tips to help people and businesses in our community!

They began their outreach in Middleton and have expanded it to include our very own Cross Plains Community ! Please reach out to CPACC or directly to these students via their website (linked below) to either have your business included or to support other small businesses.

Thank you for your efforts Jahnvi, Sarah Ann, Lauren, and Shradha!

#ShopMainStreetWI
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation is beginning to add Connect Communities to their new online retail database (Cross Plains Area Chamber of Commerce is a member of Connect Communities) They are entering any retail businesses that offer online sales that can be delivered within the state beyond gift cards or can be picked up curbside. Right now they are focusing on marketing this tool as a “shop local statewide even if what you need isn’t offered in your home community”. In addition, businesses need to be located in our district and they need to have some kind of online presence. If you are a member of the Cross Plains Area Chamber of Commerce and would like to be included on their website, please fill out the very short form below

The Cross Plains Area Chamber of Commerce has not forgotten the importance of this year for the Village of Cross Plains.
