Fostering Collaborations to Strengthen Heat Resilience Workshops (virtual)

In June 2025, MAPC and the Center for Climate and Health at Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH) co-hosted a regional symposium with over 100 stakeholders from various sectors.

In continuation of the Symposium, MAPC in partnership with the BUSPH and A Better City is hosting two virtual workshops that focus on approaches to advance and strengthen heat resilience.

Thursday, January 15, 2026 | 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.

Heat Resilience and Mobility Workshop

Thursday, January 29, 2026 | 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.

Heat Health Risk and Resilience Workshop

Both workshops are virtual, and you can register for one or both workshops on one registration form (we encourage you to join us for both!).

Additional Information

These targeted conversations will identify implementation ideas and actionable next steps while also cultivating a space for practitioners to connect and strengthen relationships.

After both webinars have ended, the project team will synthesize the conversations into an implementation roadmap memo that identifies and recommends specific sectors, roles, and possible funding sources to build a coordinated approach to heat resilience.
