Dr. Chu describes her approach to treatment:
"Adolescents and young adults are a key focus of my practice, including those who may struggle with substance abuse and other disorders such as depression, anxiety, or another mood disorder. I am passionate about providing support and guidance to young people and their families at a critical juncture in their lives. I work to get comprehensive family history d
ata and information from several sources, including high quality psychological testing, and spend a great deal of time with patients in order to make the best decisions about diagnosis and care. I try to tailor the most efficient medication regimen with the fewest medications possible to make a meaningful difference in a person's quality of life. I also believe in a holistic and integrative approach and collaborate with many other professionals to optimize physical and mental well-being. My goal is to provide compassionate and comprehensive care that takes into account the biological and psychological factors that are part of each person's unique make up."

We can see new clients within the same day or 24 hours in urgent situations. With established clients we can always help families the same day.
Most of our clients receive 50-80% reimbursement from insurers.

Holding 'sacred space' is the focus of Rosa's teaching: "You do not need to know precisely what is happening, or exactly where it is all going. What you need is to recognize the possibilities and challenges offered by the present moment, and to embrace them with courage, faith and hope." - T. Merton
