Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is streamlining ID management security with the “One Login” functionality called HARP beginning  April 7 th , 2020. HARP stands for Health Care Quality Information Systems (HCQIS) Access Roles and Profile, and it is for users of Hospital Quality Reporting (HQR). This new account access will provide advanced security. With HARP, you will no longer need to maintain multiple user accounts or login ID’s. Instead, your HARP account will give you access to all reporting features available in HQR. You can transition to your HARP account from  April 7th through June 15th, 2020.

CMS will host educational webinars the week of April 6, 2020 titled  Setting up Your HARP Account for the Hospital Quality Reporting System .
The webinars will provide information regarding the background of the transition to HARP, instructions for establishing your HARP credentials and linking your existing QualityNet Secure Portal account(s) to your new HARP account, as well as a demonstration of logging into the Hospital Quality Reporting portal after the transition. The presentation slides, recording, transcript, and participant questions and answers from subject-matter experts will be available after the presentation on  www.qualityreportingcenter.com
Please be on the lookout for more information from CMS regarding these webinars and steps required to transition your current account to the new HARP system.

How Else Can Direct Difference, Inc. Help You?
Measuring quality is necessary for improving healthcare. We understand that when providers are overly consumed with measuring and reporting quality metrics, it is difficult to actually apply results and focus on actions that lead to real improvements.

Why not smart source all of your data abstraction needs so that it is done better, faster, more consistently, and at lower cost with less risk?

Did you know we provide abstraction services for core measures, non-core measures, registry, OPPE-FPPE, NHSN, peer review, pharmaceutical studies and others? If you have any data abstraction needs please contact us for more information. All you have to do is respond to this email to get started.
