"I could never in a hundred summers get tired of this."

-Susan Branch
And just like that, the fair is over.

Thank you to everyone who spent one hour, or all six days, helping out at the Walworth County Fair. This year we doubled down and had volunteers-a-plenty in the Beer & Wine areas and eager chamber partners setting up camp in the Elkhorn Chamber booth! We advertised FUN, and certainly fun was had during the six days of the fair. To the WCF Board and volunteers, a louder and more obnoxious round of applause goes out to everyone who planned, prepped and brought the Walworth County Fair back this year. An event of this size takes the support and effort of many, and we appreciate everything and everyone!
Just like the ferris wheel this past week, the calendar keeps spinning. With the start of school and the yellow bus transit in route, we know that fall will soon be here.

This coming October will mark the 16th Annual Elkhorn Oktoberfest taking place on October 16th.
You know what that means?
WE'RE GOLDEN!!!!

The Elkhorn Chamber looks forward
to celebrating downtown Elkhorn with authentic cuisine, beverages and to welcome back a new tradition: the
All-Around Town Beer & Wine Tasting.
In addition, live music, craft vendors and fall favorites will line the streets of Elkhorn Oktoberfest. Be sure to like Elkhorn Oktoberfest on Facebook and watch for the band line-ups and special guest announcements! Mark your calendars and get ready for the Oktoberfest celebration downtown Elkhorn on October 16th, 9am-5pm.

Till then, Prost!

Old World Foundation surpasses fundraising goal and
purchases “beer delivery truck” for Old World Wisconsin.
Thanks to the many people who donated to fund the immediate needs related to
the new brewing experience at Old World Wisconsin, Old World Foundation raised over
$46,000. In the spring of 2021, the Chair of the OWF Board of Trustees issued a challenge to
raise $30,000 by the beginning of August for this initiative, and due to the generosity of the
community, this goal was surpassed. Donors were invited to an exclusive evening celebration
at Old World Wisconsin to thank them for their support. This event, called our Sunset Soiree,
was an evening celebrating brewing traditions at Old World Wisconsin.

Fiber is what gives strength and structure to plants. Most grains, beans, vegetables, and fruits contain fiber. Foods rich in fiber are often low in calories and fat, and they fill you up more. They may also reduce your risks for certain health problems. To find out the amount of fiber in canned, packaged, or frozen
foods, read the Nutrition Facts label. It tells you how much fiber is in one serving.
