Senior Lucy Chuang was recently named a Coca-Cola Scholar!  She is one of 15 from the Southeast Region to be recognized.  Last week one of the vice-presidents of Coca- Cola surprised her in class by letting her know she was the first student to be recognized and they were so proud to announce it to her in person.
She will be receiving $20,000!
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities.
More than 86,000 students nationwide applied for this recognition and Lucy was only one of 149 to receive this recognition.

If you see Lucy, please offer her congratulations.  We could not have a better representative from our school!
